Platinum Rockstars play the Oak Park Music Festival 2010

Be sure to catch the Platinum Rockstars at 2010′s Oak Park Music Festival on Saturday, June 26th starting at 6pm. This live music family-friendly and FREE event happens only once a year in beautiful Oak Canyon Community Park.

The Platinum Rockstars Superstar Show features tributes to great classic rock artists that cross generations (from Woodstock to RockBand) including legends like Led Zeppelin, Boston, Journey, Van Halen, Def Leppard and Bon Jovi.

The Platinum Rockstars Guest Stars include the amazing Chuck Wright (Quiet Riot, Alice Cooper, House Of Lords) on bass, Lance Turner (Atomic Punks) on guitar and Mike McManus (Queen Nation, Egodog) on keyboards and guitar.

Anaheim Gets A Taste Of Platinum

The Platinum Rockstars Classic Rock Superstar Show rocked the 2010 Taste Of Anaheim on Thursday, May 13th. This was the show’s second visit to the OC in 2010 and their first appearance at this prestigious foodie event.

This event marked the debut of the new Who and Foreigner segments of the Superstar Show, with songs including “My Generation” and “Feels Like The First Time”. More costumes, more music, more fun!

Chuck Wright: Renowned Bassist “Special Guests” With Platinum Rockstars

Just in time for the New Year, bassist extraordinaire and certified platinum rockstar Chuck Wright will join forces with the “Platinum Rockstars” classic rock superstar show. Chuck is most known for his work in the Mega-Platinum band Quiet Riot, as well as Giuffria and his band House of Lords. His reputation as one of the most accomplished bass players in Rock also landed him working with such legendary music icons as Alice Cooper, Gene Simmons, Slash, Gregg Allman and others. Chuck will provide a powerful new punch to the PRS roadshow.

In addition, the Platinum Rockstars Show is being revamped for 2010 and will be presenting an incredible new lineup of classic rock hits from Led Zeppelin, Boston, Van Halen, Journey, Def Leppard and Bon Jovi. Don’t miss the bass sensation as he makes his debut on January 23rd at The Grove in Anaheim when Platinum Rockstars performs a special “sneak preview” show prior to the legendary Pink Floyd tribute band “Which One’s Pink”. Welcome Guitarist Mike McManus!

We’d like to officially welcome our new guitarist/keyboardist Mike McManus to the Platinum Rockstars! Mike is on a sort of “long-term loan” from his fantastic classic Queen tribute band Queen Nation.

Originally from Boston, MA, Mike’s performing and playing is a tremendous asset to the Platinum Rockstars show and his sense of humor and overall “massholianism” makes him a pleasure to be around!

Mike will continue to trade off shows with original guitarist/keyboardist Victor Bender as Victor transitions to his new position in a LA-local Journey tribute band so you’ll see both of them over the next few months.
