David Victor was featured on BOSTON’s summer 2012 40-date tour of North America and in 2013 at the sold-out Boston Strong Benefit with Aerosmith at the Boston Garden in front of an audience of nearly 20,000. David’s vocals and guitar playing make this tribute to the amazing music of BOSTON and STYX as real as it can get!
Perhaps no two 1970’s era bands better defined the all-American good time summer classic rock sound more than Boston and Styx. These artists took rock music to places it had never been, with a radio-friendly and highly-polished sound, with vocals and harmonies that set the standard for every popular classic rock band that followed.
Now BOSTYX re-creates the amazing music of these two classic rock icons with a full complement of world-class musicians, reproducing Boston’s soaring guitar harmonies and lightning-fast keyboard runs as well as the lush backing vocals and theatrical style of Styx. Handling the distinctive lead vocals of Styx co-founder Dennis DeYoung is multi-talented drummer and lead vocalist, Glenn Jost. And lead vocalist/guitarist David Victor of the actual band BOSTON handles the vocals of two of the best-loved rock tenors of all-time, Boston’s Brad Delp and Styx’s Tommy Shaw.
