TD Bank Garden and Live Nation presented Boston Strong: An Evening of Support and Celebration at the TD Garden on Thursday, May 30, 2013. Net ticket proceeds of this historic concert benefited The One Fund Boston to help the people most affected by the tragic events that occurred in Boston on April 15. Concert tickets for this event sold out in four and a half minutes according to Live Nation. The once-in-a-lifetime show also featured Aerosmith, Jason Aldean, Dropkick Murphys, Jimmy Buffett, Dane Cook, Extreme, The J. Geils Band, Carole King, New Kids on the Block, James Taylor and comedian Steven Wright.

BOSTON opened the show with Tom Sholz's special rendition of "The Star Spangled Banner" which brought the crowd to its feet in a spirit of unity. The band then immediately launched into a blistering set of BOSTON hits including "Rock 'n Roll Band", "Smokin'", "More Than a Feeling" and closed the special set with the epic "Foreplay/Long Time". BOSTON lead vocalist Tommy DeCarlo donned a Larry Bird Celtics jersey for the final number.

During the rousing finale of the night, many of the musicians who took part in the show took the stage one last time to sing the stirring "Come Together" as well as a local favorite, "Dirty Water". BOSTON drummer Curly Smith as well as vocalist/guitarist David Victor joined Aerosmith's Steven Tyler on the mic.

The complex "Boston Strong" production required close cooperation as well as some special equipment to succeed. The unique event featured a giant rotating stage which allowed for fast set changeovers between acts. The show lasted for nearly five hours, and the nearly 20,000 in attendance were treated to a very special night of music in support of those affected and the people who care for them.

The big news in the summer of 2012 was that lead vocalist/guitarist DAVID VICTOR officially joined the legendary multi-platinum band BOSTON. David played guitar and performed several lead vocals, joining the band on their 40 date 2012 summer tour which criss-crossed the U.S. east, south and mid-west, with several stops in Canada as well.

Starting at the Seminole Hard Rock Live in Hollywood, FL on June 28th, 2012, the band made their way across the U.S. and Canada performing BOSTON's greatest hits as well as many classic album tracks. David Victor shared lead vocal duties with BOSTON vocalist Tommy DeCarlo. David was featured singing "Peace of Mind", "Amanda", "Surrender To Me" and "Walk On" and sharing lead vocal duties on the band's first smash hit, "More Than A Feeling" and the introspective "My Destination".

David Victor also spent time in the studio with BOSTON founder, producer and songwriter TOM SCHOLZ, recording vocals for BOSTON's upcoming studio album, slated for release summer 2013. In addition, a new BOSTON DVD will be released in the near future.

2013 is shaping up to be the busiest year ever for Platinum Rockstars Productions and the bands BOSTYX (all the Hits of BOSTON and STYX) and PLATINUM ROCKSTARS (70s and 80s classic rock superstar show).

Dates announced for BOSTYX in 2013 include the Lake Arrowhead Village (May 11th), Burbank Starlight Bowl (July 14th), Concerts in the Park in Santa Clarita, CA (July 20th) and Frontier Days in Cheyenne, WY (July 26th and 27th). More dates will be announced here as soon as they are confirmed. The PLATINUM ROCKSTARS hit northern California for the first time ever on Saturday, July 6th in Rancho Murieta, CA and are back in Lake Arrowhead Village on Saturday, June 29th.
